Instructions
1: Preheat oven to 350F and spray/line a baking pan.
2: In a small bowl, stir together the flax egg ingredients & set aside for 5 minutes.
3: In a large sized bowl, whisk together the flours, sugar, & baking powder.
4: In a small bowl, whisk together the flax egg, orange zest, orange juice, & melted butter.
5: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir until combined—using your hands at the end to roll the dough into a ball.
6: Place the dough onto the baking sheet, flatten into a circle {about 1/4 inch thick}, and cut into 8 scones.
7: Bake for 10 minutes & let cool for at least 5 minutes before separating the slices + topping with icing!View original recipe
