Cinnamon Roll Scones

1: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2: Using a stand mixer or a whisk, combine the flour, sugar, and baking powder.

3: Add in the cream cheese and cubed butter, mixing until well incorporated.

4: In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract, and egg.

5: Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients; stir until dough forms.

6: Roll the dough out into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface, and spread the filling into a thin layer.

7: Cut the dough into 9 slices, roll each slice up, and shape into 'cookie' forms.

8: Place the scones on the baking sheet, brush them with extra heavy whipping cream, and bake for about 25 minutes.

9: Once cooled, top with frosting made from powdered sugar mixed with water and enjoy!
