1: Preheat oven to 350F. 2: CRUST: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and baking powder—then using your hands or a fork, add in the cold butter (cut it into little cubes first). 3: In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the vanilla extract, almond milk, and egg—then add that to the dry ingredients and stir until well combined. 4: FILLING: Cut the apples into slices then add to a large bowl and stir in the rest of the filling ingredients. 5: Pour the apple filling into a baking dish, press the crust dough over the apples, and bake for 40 minutes. 6: Best topped with vanilla ice cream!
